Family: married to Gladys R. Jennings since August 8, 1964, with three adult children and three grandchildren

Bachelor of Science in Commerce Degree, University of Kentucky, 1963

COURTS:
Admitted in all Kentucky Courts, as well as United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, United States Courts of Appeal for the Fourth and Sixth Circuits, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

 

ASSOCIATIONS:
Madison County Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys and Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

LEGAL EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Oliver, for the past twenty years, has been a general practitioner with an emphasis on litigation, both civil and criminal. In 1986, he established a jury verdict record in Garrard County, Kentucky, which still stands, and has recently, January 18, 2001, been accepted as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Formerly, Mr. Oliver was City Attorney for the City of Berea (1968- 1978) and Master Commissioner for the Madison Circuit Court (1970-1980). He is also an approved attorney for real estate closings for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, the Farmer's Home Administration and most Madison County banks.
