Oliver & Oliver History

The firm came into existence in 1939, when L. Marion Oliver opened his law office at 301 Chestnut Street in Berea, Kentucky, and the firm has been located at that same address ever since. In 1966, the second Oliver was added to the firm name with the arrival of L. Marion Oliver's son, Roger M. Oliver and in 1994, the third generation of Olivers was added to the firm when Brandy Oliver Brown joined the firm. In 1990, L. Marion Oliver passed away and Brandy Oliver Brown is currently away from the firm, serving as District Court Judge for the 25th Judicial District in 2001, leaving Roger M. Oliver as lead counsel for the firm.
